As a European Supply Analyst OEM you are the end responsible for smooth flow of tyres provided to Original Equipment Customers (Porsche, Ferrari, Iveco,...) all over Europe. These OE Customers require high-end tyres tailored to their needs and models and use these tyres within their car assembly process.
Your role is to create a better view in the relations between OE Customer requirements, Bridgestone capacities (in terms of production within Europe or import from Japan) and stock levels in Europe.

Your main responsibilities are:

- Process and control the monthly ordering flow to Bridgestone Japan for Consumer Original Equipment (OE) products
- Control the supply of main Bridgestone Europe Consumer OE
- Work together with the after market (mainly replacement tyres) to optimize balance (stock/supply/shortages) between OE and after market.

To do so, you have the following responsibilities:

1) OE Sales Forecast control
- On Monthly base, review sales forecast proposed by the local markets and validate with them main variation versus previous month and main deviation from the market
- Organize discussion with Central OE team to agree on future direction for main expected issue

2) Purchasing to Bridgestone Japan
- Calculate necessary purchase volume to Bridgestone Japan based on OE sales forecast and targeted stock level
- Coordinate with the person in charge of replacement purchase, controlling total purchase volume versus budget / capacity for critical categories
- Accordingly propose stock and purchase volume adjustment and get agreement with OE
- Prepare material for reporting and approval of the final purchase volume to CEO
- Place order to Bridgestone Japan in SAP and Issue priority list

3) Bridgestone Europe key sizes control
- Upon receipt of Bridgestone Europe purchase plan, study main deviation between sales forecast and purchase plan.
- Validate with the local markets main reasons for stock build up
- Accordingly determine mandatory portion (priority ratio) for these key items and inform the plant accordingly for their ticker preparation

4)Allocation
- Upon receipt of commitment figures for Bridgestone Japan items, and Bridgestone Europe key sizes, validate the allocation result with central OE. Issue recovery request when necessary and study potential countermeasures.
- Coordinate with the person in charge of replacement supply the necessary adjustment in OE stock build up as a potential countermeasure to replacement shortage for critical items
- Communicate final result to local OE markets

5) Weekly /daily follow up
- On weekly /daily base, follow up the variation in consumption / forecast versus plan and update In/Out balance for all Bridgestone Japan items + Bridgestone Europe key sizes.
- Accordingly, in case of significant variation, negotiate with the supply source for necessary volume adjustment and/or emergency shipments
